NEW VERSION OF HYUNDAI SANTRO

Hyundai Motor,the Korean auto company has launched a modified version of its fashionable hatchback SANTRO. Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) announced that its hatchback model, the GETS, will be released by 2011.Hyundai is hoping to sell around 5.5 lakh cars by this year which includes 2.7 lakh exports and 2.8 lakh domestic sales. The production of the Hyundai i20 for export will be moved to Europe next year. This change of production location is because of logistical reasons.Production in India will be increased from September 14 by working 3 shifts instead of 2 shifts. This 3 shift production will make the company to produce 2,500 cars a day than the current production of 2,000 unit.

Cadillac SRX - Expecting On Road in 2010

The SRX is Cadillac's way in to the mid-size lavishness SUV models. This SRX will be competitor for Lexus RX350, BMW X5 and Mercedes ML-Class. This SRX was first introduced in the year 2004; now it is completely redesigned to launch for the 2010’s best model. This SRX will be introducing either a 3.0-liter VVT E85 V6 engine with direct-injection, or a 2.8-liter Turbocharged V6 engine. The 3.0 liter engine can deliver maximum 260 hp at 6950 rpm and maximum torque of 221 pound-feet at 5600 rpm. But the smaller turbocharged engine is capable of producing maximum 300 hp at 5500 rpm and 295 pound-feet of torque at 1850 rpm. Fiat has launched its most awaited premium hatchback model Fiat Punto in Indian market. HYUNDAI's ix35 replaces TUCSON

Hyundai has confirmed it will replace Tucson by its brand new ix35, and Hyundai is going to launch it for the European market by the next month. The ix35 has been designed and engineered in European company’s Frankfurt-based design and technical centers. ix35 is seems to carry over many of the styling cues of the ix-onic concept car, which was displayed at the Geneva Motor Show earlier of year 2009.The Hyundai ix35 is expected to be offered with both front and four-wheel drive. In Europe, Hyundai expects around 95% of the car’s sales to be in front-wheel drive. Hyundai's ix35 is being pitched as a car for on-road Drivers, rather than as an off-roader.

Volkswagen to launch Polo in early 2010

Volkswagen be launching the Polo in early 2010 in India. The company’s first hatchback in India, the Polo will come with both petrol and diesel engine options. It is a sedan version, will be launched in mid-2010. The VW Polo will be a part of the rapidly growing hatchback segment in India, which includes Maruti’s Swift and Ritz and Hyundai’s i10 and i20. The company expects Polo's sales in the country to improve remarkably after the launch of the Polo, and to cross the 1 lakh mark by 2014. Neeraj Garg, VW India’s Director (Passenger Car Division) said that the car would be built on a platform especially developed for Indian road conditions, and would be bench marked against the Maruti Swift. Garg also said that Volkswagen’s initial strategy for the compact car segment would be to launch Volkswagen India will be launching the Polo in early 2010. The company’s first hatchback in India, the Polo will come with both petrol and diesel engine options. Its sedan version will be launched in mid-2010.
